I have recently finished 2 showhouses for Wood Group Homes at Seagreen in Greystones, and am delighted with the results.
What shocked me was how un-showhouse like the interiors were in comparison with the many other showhouses which have been launched recently. Even glancing at the property pages for new developments show such repetition of ideas.
I am lucky I expect – I am trusted by the developers I work for to ensure that everything is always fresh but at the same time sympathetic to the space available. I have proved many times that I understand the psychology of interiors far more that others and can create an ambience for potential purchasers, which truly engages them,
A recent enquiry form a potential new client further emphasises a general lack of belief in showhouse interiors – the client says that he really didn’t want a ‘showhouse look’.
This of course is music to my ears, as I aspire to create a unique interior for every client.
Of course the majority of photographs on my website are of showhouses, as nearly all of my clients really want their privacy so private homes are rarely photographed.
But soon one of my current projects will be available for viewing – it is anything but ordinary!
An industrial kitchen with steel copper and stone is just the beginning! – watch this space for more!
